However, you need to be well-organised to make sure that you give both priorities the time and commitment that they deserve. So, here are a few ways to provide the sense of balance that you are looking for.

Develop a Plan

All good things start with a good plan, so when you make the decision to take on two major commitments at once, you should write down exactly how you are going to approach this balancing act. How many hours a week do you need to work to continue to meet all your financial objectives? How long does the course take and how much time will you need to devote to it? One week, you may have a big project at work so you need to dedicate more time to that. The next, you may find yourself with an academic deadline that you need to hit. No one ever said working and studying at the same time was going to be easy! Be ready to get super organized in order to avoid stress.

Manage Your Stress and Avoid Burnout

Speaking of which, make sure that you set time apart for yourself in which you can de-stress and unwind. Otherwise, you are likely to find yourself suffering from burnout and you won’t be much good to your school or your workplace. Remember to take regular breaks, get plenty of sleep, stay physically active, and enjoy some time socializing with the people closest to you.
