Holiday in the Sun

It might not be summer yet, but that doesn’t mean the sun isn’t hanging out in some other part of the world. There are plenty of beautiful holiday opportunities to venture in, even during the winter when it’s freezing in the northern hemisphere. Tenerife is the largest of the Canary Islands. This also means that it’s the most populated and has some beautiful beaches with golden sand and plenty of tourist destinations that you can escape to. Surprisingly, the weather on Tenerife is different depending on where you visit. If you visit the north, you’ll experience slightly more wind and a bit less sun. This is great if you’re just adjusting to the heat, but you’ll want to visit the south if you want the weather hotter and a little drier.

Despite it being the coldest months in Tenerife, the winter season is the perfect time to visit because there are six hours of sunshine, really small chances of rain, and a mild temperature that is perfect for resting and relaxing on the beach. Just remember to bring your own wind-stable umbrella while you’re on the beach for maximum comfort. It’s one of the handiest accessories you can invest in if you’re going for a winter holiday in a sunny country.
