Georgine is a designer who I have been following closely the past year. Seeing her show in September sparked a real interest in her dramatic and fun designs. I’ll never forget the safety pin dress or the leather fringed track pants… I would wear those pants every single day. Needless to say, I was very eager to see what the New York City based designer came up with this season.
I arrived at Clarkson Square for the 6 pm show. Already inside the venue was Stassi Schroeder from Vanderpump Rules, who I have loved for the past 5 seasons. I also ran into my dear friend and mentor Heidi Nazarudin from The Ambitionista. We briefly caught up before the show began. I love how NYFW can pull East and West coasts together.
Once the lights dimmed and the music began, I knew I was in for a treat! Metallics, furs, and leather went down the runway. Immaculately sculpted and placed together. That is one signature of Georgine’s I completely admire, her ability to make clothes that are impeccably finished and tailored.
