The marriage between feminine and masculine is my all time favorite style. A boxed jacket with a floral blouse or wide leg slacks with a lace top. The pairing of menswear with a delicate touch is perfection.Which is why I fell in love with the designer Sarah Seven.
During New York Fashion Week, I attended her presentation at the Lilac Gallery. Her collection ranged from tailored coats in soft pastel colors to raw edged sleeves done perfectly in lace. A thick-stitched embroidery on a delicate top was one of my personal favorite combinations. It was one of those rare instances where I could see myself wearing every piece displayed.
While at the presentation, I was able to mingle with the team behind Sarah Seven. Each member was just as excited and enthused to be working with the designer as the last. It was fun discussing the progression of Sarah Seven from bridal wear to include a ready-to-wear line. It is visible how the years of precision and details used in their bridal line carried over to their current collection of everyday wear.
