I wanted to take a minute to share my absolute condolence to those impacted by the natural disasters in both Mexico City and Puerto Rico. I have met the most incredible people and have loved ones from both locations. My heart goes out to everyone who is suffering. Our world needs our help.

Last year, I wrote an article Is Rent The Runway Unlimited Worth It. Since then, it has become one of the most popular articles I have written to date. I figured, when I was writing the article I had only been using the service for a few months and it was relatively brand new to the market. A year has gone by and not only has my experience changed, but the product (rent the runway unlimited) has changed as well. See if it is still worth it below!
Can you believe it is here! September NYFW is my all time favorite. The weather is better, the clothes are exciting, and it is also my favorite time of the year to be in New York City. Today I am sharing some pro tips on what to pack for NYFW beyond the obvious OOTD. I also have a few helpful hotel suggestions. Enjoy!
You know I love to help and support my fellow female entrepreneurs! When and where I can, I love to show my support with my $$$. Here is a list of women owned businesses, and most were formed in the efforts of helping and supporting other women. All the feels right now…
Two awesome trainers started the booming workout community that strives to empower other women! Karena and Katrina share workout tips, easy to make recipes, and have daily toning moves on their website. They also have a one-time fee nutrition plan that will help you gadge what to eat and how much depending on your dietary needs. I paid the fee and can tell you first hand it is so worth it! The fastest growing woman-owned business in the US founded by Sarah Kauss. The water bottle that keeps cold liquids cold for 12 hours and hot liquids hot for 8, just became more empowering to use.
The natural cotton tampon company providing healthy feminine care. These women care about our health and reproductive systems and are providing safe, hygienic alternatives. Thanks, ladies!
The no nonsense vitamin essentials geared to support women’s health. When the founder, Kat was pregnant, she couldn’t find a prenatal vitamin worth swallowing. So she created her own, without all the gross additives and fillers. For $30 a month, that’s a pretty good deal.

It is finally starting to feel like Summer here in the city! The warm weather has arrived, and what better way to celebrate than with some new shoes!
I recently attended the Sebago Fall & Winter 2017 Press Preview that took place close to Carnegie Hall. It is one of my favorite areas of the city, chock full of history. The music hall has housed some of the most incredible musicians of our time, and for many years Bill Cunningham resided upstairs. For that reason alone, I simply love the Carnegie Hall Neighborhood.
I was in Saks Fifth Avenue the other day for an event, and saw a sweatshirt by Knowlita that read “Greenwich or Nowhere.” I instantaneously fell in love with the top and took a picture. Since then I haven’t been able to get it out of my head.
As a lover of sweatshirts and once dweller of Greenwich, Connecticut, Knowlita’s design really spoke to me. I think it is important to wear pieces that mean something to you. I also really think it is important to be comfy. After looking up the brand, I saw how many other cities and sayings they created. From London to Montauk, and of course they included a few west coast towns as well. They even have kids and baby clothing options. So everyone can wear their city with pride! In the comments below, tell me which one you would choose?
Tuesday, May 30th I attended the US launch of the brand Kimoa. It was held at the Rivington Hotel’s S’Zen Lounge in the lower east side. The clothing company is styled after Southern California and carried an easy-going beach vibe. There were screen printed tees, sweatshirts, and dresses for women. There were board shorts, tanks, tees for men. The fabrics were super soft and some laser burned for effect. The collection also includes surfboards, skateboards, and a few accessories. In fact, a surfboard displayed the sunglass and hat collections.
I am a 90s kid, so this particular event, the launch of 90s Forever pop-up shop really spoke to me. I wasn’t sure what to expect since this was my first time at one of Spark Pretty’s pop-up stores. All I knew was, it is located on my favorite street in the East Village and 90s clothing were involved.
