Oh how much I love a beauty product that multitasks! If a product makes my life easier, I’ll love it to the end.
I recently tested the Beautycounter Cleansing Balm. It is a natural face cleansing balm (read: no parabens, phthalates, synthetic fragrances, PEGS, SLS or secrets) that hydrates your skin while removing grit from the day.
Added bonus! It is so easy (and fun) to use. The product comes in a beautiful glass container. There is a soft, linen, cleansing towel to help remove the product, and two plastic wands to help scoop the product from the container. The wands keep it sanitary so you don’t double dip and helps prevents any bacteria from your hands to mix with the product.
How To Use
Placing the face cleansing balm into my hands, I used circular motions on my face. The balm melted effortlessly into my skin, nearly instantaneously. The makeup lifted easily as well and my face began to shine. Next, I took the cloth that was supplied and dampen it with warm water. I gently removed the balm and residue with the cloth. Afterward, I washed away the rest of the balm with cold water. All done! While other makeup removers are harsh and drying, I noticed an immediate softness to my skin. I highly recommend this product. It is a super easy way to keep your skin fresh all Summer long!
I recently had the privilege of testing out Purpletale’s five-step facial. Purpletale is a Korean skin care movement, with the notion ‘if you look good, you’ll feel good, and if you feel good you’ll do good’. The brand is all about the amazing pamper sessions that nourish our souls. After hearing so many raving reviews of Purpletale, and Korean beauty as a whole, I was super interested in trying it myself.
Who doesn’t want to have nice, pearly-white teeth? Australians are generally very laid-back people who don’t mind salt on their skin and in their hair because they spend hours at the beach every day. They like casual outfits and flip-flops, but one thing they can’t live without are white teeth. Their entire outfit and hairstyle can be casual, but their teeth have to be white. To get a set of pearly-whites like a real Aussie, here are 4 easy tips to naturally whiten teeth.
With the holidays here, I find it important to balance the over indulging feasts and high-stress work week with some health-conscious actions. This past weekend I made a trip to Higher DOSE in the east village to give infrared saunas a try.
