10 Of the Biggest Trends That Need To End Now

Biggest Trends

While I am loving the 90s revival, there are some things that should never be resurrected. Then there are other trends that just need to end now. Here are top trends that should stop immediately.

(PS this is all in good fun and not to be taken too seriously, enjoy!)

Here Are The 10 Biggest Trends That Need To End Now

10) Mom jeans…

Even mom’s don’t want to wear mom jeans because they are so unflattering! Nothing about them says, “I’m cute”. If you are looking for more of a baggier silhouette try the girlfriend jeans. But just say no to the Mom jeans from here on out.

9) Fur Slippers

Just how boots with the fur went out of style, it’s time for slippers with the fur to leave the building. Next!

8) Fitness tracker bracelets

Want to instantly kill your look? Wear a Fitbit as a bracelet. It seriously kills me when I see a gorgeously dressed woman and then a plastic band on her wrist. There has got to be a better way to track steps

7) Way-too-distressed distressed jeans

If there is a huge chunk of your jeans missing, just wear shorts. It looks better and prevents many of us from guessing what were you thinking.

6) Sandals with socks

This is beginning to reappear, and I hope it doesn’t catch on. You wear sandals when it’s hot out, you wear socks when it’s cold. If you are wearing sandals with socks, to me, you just seem confused.

5) Bomber Jackets

Alright, we all had a little fun with these, but time to retire them. Not only are they really unflattering on most people, none of us are actually flying a plane… so why are we wearing them again?

4) Clear plastic shoes

Kanye came out with them, and everyone followed suit. Clear plastic boots were huge. The problem is, in real life, they look pretty gnarly. Sweat buildup, unmanicured toes, and dirt is what’s actually on display.

3) Underwear as outerwear

Of all the amazing designers and pieces out there, it always baffles me why would a celebrity wear a lingerie bodysuit to a press conference or interview. Luckily this trend is on its way out, and for the love of all that is good, bring the corset trend out with you.

2) Chokers

It had its moment, and it truly was fun… but now it’s time to say goodbye. Wait another 20 years and it will be back.

1) Head to toe floral

Flower overload is real guys. And I personally get dizzy looking at it. Like most things, floral is done best in proportion.

  1. I’m 100% with you in these! I have FitBit Alta HR, but I never wear it if I dress up. It’s just so ugly. Maybe if I get the silver bracelet for it, it would be prettier? I don’t know… Still too bulky.
